Welcome Chef David!

We are excited to welcome Chef David Wang as the new Executive Chef of East Bank Club.

David brings more than a decade of progressive culinary leadership, combining fine-dining experience with the ability to lead complex, high-volume operations. He began his career at Mercat a la Planxa before refining his craft at the Michelin-starred Acadia. He went on to serve in Executive Chef roles at Oak + Char, Saint Lou’s Assembly, and Boleo before advancing into culinary leadership positions with Toasted Hospitality.

Most recently, David served as Culinary Director for Atomic Hospitality Group, where he oversaw the culinary programs for five distinct Chicago concepts, including Recess, Untitled Supper Club, Bar Tetto/VU Rooftop, Tabú, and The Last Refuge. His experience across Spanish, modern American, Southern, and Peruvian cuisine will bring a valuable perspective to EBC and the wide range of dining experiences we provide.

Throughout the interview process, David stood out for his thoughtful approach to food, calm leadership style, and commitment to developing strong culinary teams. His focus on elevating everyday dining through well-executed, consistent food aligns closely with our commitment to delivering an exceptional member experience.
