Chicago Urban History

Huge thanks to Jenny Finkel and our DIB Council for bringing in S. Dilla Thomas to share his incredible knowledge of Chicago! It was fascinating to hear about everything from the city's origins to the stories behind its street and neighborhood names, plus all the amazing things that started right here. Chicago’s history is so rich, and this was such a cool way to experience it!

Shoutout to Mel Kleist for going above and beyond to create a wow experience for Dilla! After Dilla shared a funny story about his kids stealing his leftover chicken wings, Mel surprised him before he left the Club with a fresh order of EBC chicken wings to take home.
